“...it is clear to see that the revival of Spencer House has been a triumph, no less than its restoration, and not only for the house itself, but for London at large. The city is so much the richer for it.”

Plan a Visit

From its conception, Spencer House was recognised as one of the most ambitious aristocratic town houses ever built in London and is the city’s only great eighteenth-century private palace to survive intact. This magnificent aristocratic palace has regained the full splendour of its late eighteenth-century appearance after a painstaking ten-year restoration undertaken by RIT Capital Partners plc, under the Chairmanship of Lord Rothschild.

Eight State Rooms are open to the public for viewing on Sundays throughout the year.
