When the House is Open to the Public

Spencer House, London's most magnificent private palace, is open to the public for viewing every Sunday (except during January and August) from 10.30 a.m. - 5.45 p.m*. Access is by guided tour, which lasts approximately 1 hour. Tours begin at regular intervals and the last admission is at 4.45 p.m. The maximum number of visitors on each tour is 20.

2012

Exceptionally, Spencer House will be open on the following Sundays in January:

    Sunday 22nd January 2012
    Sunday 29th January 2012

The House will be closed on the following Sundays in July:

    Sunday 22nd July 2012
    Sunday 29th July 2012

This applies only to the year 2012, the London Olympics year, and does not affect any other normal opening or closing times which remain unchanged.

Access to the House

The House is only a few minutes away from Green Park underground station, or a 10-minute bus ride from Victoria station. There are no parking facilities for coaches or cars although there are many NCP car parks nearby.

Tickets

Timed tickets may be purchased in person from 10.30 a.m. on the day. Tickets for individuals are available on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance.

Adults: £12.00
Concessions *: £10.00

*Students (with cards), Members of the V&A (with cards), Friends of the Royal Academy (with cards), Tate Members (with cards), senior citizens (only on production of relevant identification), children under 16.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, no children under 10 admitted.

As part of the exhibition programme of modern and contemporary sculpture in conjunction with Christie's, Spencer House is delighted to announce that the third piece to be shown is Eva Rothschild's Meta. It will be on exhibition from 2nd February to 23rd March 2012.
