In the heart of London boasting views over the garden and the Green Park, the Terrace may be used in conjunction with the State Rooms for summer receptions. An awning or enclosed marquee can be built on the Terrace, subject to an additional fee.
Accessed from the Palm Room and the Library, the Terrace provides a stunning outdoor area for use in the summer months for exclusive events or beautiful wedding receptions.
At almost 50 metres in length the Terrace has a comfortable capacity of 250.
A specially designed awning can be built, for an additional fee, to protect your guests from rain or strong sunlight.
Lighting can be installed to allow your guests to remain outside after nightfall.

While dancing is not permitted anywhere within the State Rooms, there is however, the option to build an enclosed structure on the Terrace for an additional fee.
Particularly popular with wedding ceremony guests, the Terrace has over the years played host to many parties with live entertainment.
While it is not possible for guests to access the lawn, the garden does however provide an ideal setting for musicians to play and for guests to enjoy the entertainment from the comfort of the Terrace. Everything from a string quartet to Beating Retreat, a colourful pageant of military music and precision drill, can be arranged.
Spencer House is also one of the rare London venues that can arrange spectacular firework displays in the garden for its clients.
