Dining Room

The Dining Room is the largest of the ground floor rooms and makes an excellent setting for house receptions, recitals, presentations and is also one our unique wedding venues. Originally the Spencer family Dining Room, the mahogany table can be decorated with floral arrangements.

“Everything was splendid. The house, of course, looked magnificent and the service and food were absolutely impeccable.”
After passing through the Ante Room and Library, the guests enter into the dramatic and larger setting of the Dining Room which delights with Ionic columns and a handsome frieze depicting festoons of laurels taken from the Temple of Fortuna Virilis in Rome.

The windows overlook the terrace and provide a stunning view over the Green Park.
